What you get inside

Three surfaces. One membership.

Elysium

Five conversations a day.

The clinical-grade conversational mental-health product. Four independent layers of safety. Every reply is honest about what it is and what it cannot be.

Momentum

A new issue every Friday morning.

Sourced. Signed. Shipped. Members read every issue end to end; non-members read one a month, free. The full back archive is open to members.

Threshold Assist

Ask anything.

A separate, clearly-labelled general-purpose AI assistance surface. Distinct from Elysium. For research, work, and life questions that aren't clinical. Generous daily quota.

Common questions

Read this before you click.

Is The Room worth £5 if I just want to read Momentum?
Yes. Members read every issue, the full back archive, and pre-register the Annual at no extra cost. Non-members get one issue a month free. If you only care about Momentum and read more than one issue a month, membership pays for itself by issue two.
What does "free, no card" actually mean?
It means free. Enter your email, set a password, get an account. No payment surface, no upgrade pressure, no twenty-emails-a-week. You read one Momentum a month and have a Threshold Assist quota. That's it.
How is Elysium different from a chatbot?
Elysium has four independent layers of safety, automatic UK crisis-resource attachment, PII scrubbing, and refuses to do surveillance work. It is built around the lived-experience principle that being heard is the intervention. It is not a clinician and never claims to be.
If I cancel, do I lose access immediately?
No. Membership runs to the end of the period you have already paid for. After that, your account drops to the free tier; nothing is deleted, you just lose the daily Elysium quota and the full Momentum archive.
How is membership billed?
Stripe. £4.99 every month, on a managed recurring subscription. Refunds, cancellations and card changes all sit in your own Stripe customer portal. We never see your card details and we never invoice you outside Stripe.
