Who runs this

Founder and Chairman.

We met inside the mental health system. Both severely unwell. Both sectioned. We are now at the helm of the company we built around it.

The two people

Tom and Kerl.

Founder, Chief Executive

Tom Sanders

Diagnosed disabled as a child. Failed by the education system. Full-time work from age fifteen. Headhunted into private-jet sales at eighteen. Top-grossing global salesman in his industry in 2019. Organised crisis response inside the NHS during COVID. Worked at a high level inside Broadmoor. Built and piloted the Band 5 lived-experience severe-psych service at Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. More than a year of his adult life behind psychiatric doors. Built Elysium because no one had built it for him.

Chairman

Kerl Haslam

Three decades at board level. A long tenure in the senior team at Orange, ending in visionary planning and innovation. Architect of the world's first universal payment platform, conceived before fintech had a name and exited in 2005. Chairman of the Mobile WiMax Acceleration Group, the industry group accelerating next-generation wireless. More than seven years as CEO of one of the UK's most respected multi-sport disability facilities. Joined The Threshold Collective as Chairman after meeting Tom inside the mental health system. Senior voice on partnerships, governance and board-level strategy.
