The Quant Collective is our quantitative research practice, held to the discipline the rest of the collective works to: scoped in writing, done properly, or not done at all.
It is phase gated and not taking engagements, and it will not pretend otherwise to keep a pipeline warm.

Four files. Each answer is the key to the file after it, and the last answer is the one that matters.
None of them is a wartime message. Each is built on a method from the history printed beside it.
Nothing on this page, and nothing in its code, holds an answer.

The Admiralty, London, 1917
Room 40 had no copy of the German Foreign Office's code 0075, so it rebuilt the code by cryptanalysis.
The method was to find the groups that meant "stop", try stock diplomatic phrases, and firm up each guess as more traffic came in.
