The agreement between us.

Short, plain, and binding only where the law would expect it to be.

Who you are dealing with.

This website is operated by The Threshold Collective Ltd, a private limited company registered in England and Wales (Companies House 16357419), with its registered office at 18 Lady Isle House, Ferry Court, Cardiff, CF11 0JH.

The Tech Collective and The Quant Collective are service brands of The Threshold Collective Ltd. Engagements under either brand are contracted with The Threshold Collective Ltd as the legal counterparty.

What this website is for.

This website is informational. It describes our products, services, and the people behind them, and provides a way to start a conversation with the founder. Nothing on this website is an offer capable of acceptance; engagements begin with a written Statement of Work, signed by both parties.

Elysium and the limits of what it can do.

Elysium is not a crisis service, a therapist, or a substitute for clinical care. It is a conversational support tool with documented safety architecture. It will not diagnose, prescribe, or advise on medication. It is not regulated as a medical device.

If you are in danger or thinking about ending your life, please reach Samaritans on 116 123 (free, 24/7), Shout by texting 85258, NHS 111 option 2, or 999 in immediate emergency.

Membership of The Room.

The Room is a £5 monthly membership that provides daily access to Elysium, every issue of Momentum, and the Threshold Assist surface for non-clinical questions. Membership renews monthly until cancelled. You can cancel in one click from your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and there is no refund for partial months unless required by law.

Free entry to The Room is available without payment for anyone who wants to read along. Free entry does not include daily Elysium access or every Momentum issue.

Your right to cancel a membership.

Under the UK Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have fourteen calendar days from the day you sign up for The Room to cancel for any reason, with no charge. To exercise this right within the cooling-off period, reply to your Stripe receipt email or write to thethresholdcollective@gmail.com from the address you registered with. We will refund your most recent payment in full and confirm the cancellation in writing.

If you have started using digital content on The Room (an Elysium conversation, opening a paywalled Momentum issue, using Threshold Assist) within the fourteen-day window, you are agreeing that your right to cancel ends at the moment you start using it, in line with Schedule 1, paragraph (m) of the Regulations. We will tell you this clearly at the point of signup.

Outside the cooling-off period, monthly membership cancels at your next renewal date. Access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for. There is no refund for partial months unless required by law.

The Quant Collective.

The Quant Collective is a closed-loop research practice. Nothing on its page is investment advice, a solicitation of capital, an offer of securities, or a recommendation to take any financial position. The Quant Collective does not accept new partners or capital at this time and does not maintain a waiting list.

Tech Collective engagements.

The pricing ladder published on the Tech Collective page is indicative. Every engagement begins with a free scoping call, followed within seventy-two hours by a written Statement of Work specifying scope, fixed price, fixed delivery date, payment terms, and acceptance criteria. The Statement of Work is the binding agreement; this website is not.

Scope changes after a Statement of Work is signed are documented in writing and priced before any further work begins. The full source code, deployment, documentation, and operations runbook are handed over to the client on completion.

Intellectual property.

The brand marks "The Threshold Collective", "Elysium", "Momentum", "The Tech Collective", and "The Quant Collective", together with the visual identity, written content, and code that compose this website, are the property of The Threshold Collective Ltd unless explicitly stated otherwise. You are welcome to link to any page; you may quote short passages with attribution; please do not republish whole pages or substantial extracts without permission.

Liability.

This website is provided on an as-is basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of this website. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded under English law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Governing law.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute arising from your use of this website is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
